Summer- an idyll to fall in love!

Every nature, sports and mountain loving person likes staying in our valley as there is a lot of offers like: tennis, paragliding, archery, washing gold, mini-golf, mountain-biking, climbing and cycling.

After a beautiful hiking day it is recommendable to relax in the Alpentherme Gastein which is 2 km away from the Zittrauerhof. Also the Felsentherme in Bad Gastein can be recommended. Discounted tickets for these thermal baths can be bought in our house from April to December.

After a hot summer´s day you can refresh yourself in the nearby swimming lake or on the 18 loop golf site in Bad Gastein. Seeking recreation, hiking or nordic walking is possible to do directly from our farm.

50 serviced mountain pastures located between 1200m and 1830m  are a very popular attraction point for hikers. As soon as the snow has melted and enough grazing land is available our cows and horses are brought up to the Zittraueralm on the Stubner Kogel and they will enjoy summer there.

During summer the mountain railways are opened, it is a special experience to go up by cable car.

Gastein is also a good vantage point if you are interested in visiting other places of excursions: Festival city Salzburg, Grossglockner High Alpine Road,  Krimmler Waterfalls, Giant Ice World in Werfen, Liechtensteinklamm in St. Johann etc.

The SalzburgerlandCard – obtainable at our farm – entitles for price reduced entrances for over 190 places– From summer 2012 onwards it will also be available for 3, 6 and 10 days!!!
